When the utility power supply fails or becomes unstable, the On Line UPS switches the battery from charging to power supply until the utility power returns to normal, at which point it is charged. The UPS converts to DC power and divides it into two circuits, one for charging the batteries and the other for supplying AC power to the equipment. The output waveform is sinusoidal like the mains, clean, noise-free, and unaffected by the instability of the mains, which is advantageous.Online UPS
